In 1991 after many years of moving around the country in pursuit of their livelihoods, Chuck and Glenda Jones settled down in rural West Tennessee on a farm they had owned since 1983.  They both continued to work off and on until 1999, but made the farm their home base.

Glenda was originally from Troy, Tennessee and Chuck grew up near Gilbertsville, Kentucky.  They have been married since 1960 and have lived in Norfolk, VA, Memphis, TN, Milan, TN, Phoenix, AZ, Allendale, NJ, and Germantown, TN.

After a tour of duty with the U.S. Navy, Chuck worked in computer software development and information technology management with Memphis City Schools, ITT, American Express, Holiday Inns, and Medtronic Sofamor Danek, as well as independent consulting.  Glenda held various jobs including several years as the office manager of a dental clinic.

Their proudest accomplishment was raising three fine children, Diana, David, and Donald.

Both Chuck and Glenda were raised on small farms and spent most of their adulthood distancing themselves from farm life.  Ironically, after they reached the point where they could live anywhere they wanted—they ended up on a farm in a remote area not too far from where they grew up.

Glenda commenced working with stained glass several years ago and now has a very active hobby/business designing and building stained, leaded, mosaic, and etched glass pieces on a commission basis.  More recently she has become involved with a glass bead and jewelry making technique known as "Lampworking".  She also has numerous horses, donkeys, goats, ducks, and cats.  One of her most beloved pets was a pig that lived for about 17 years.  Chuck stays busy with his portable sawmill, woodworking, woodturning, and farm maintenance and improvement.  He also does some computer system work on a volunteer basis.  Both are active in their church and with various volunteer organizations.

This is their story and they're sticking to it...
